Becky Dugas

Becky Dugas, CVT received her license in Veterinary Technology in 1998 and has been working in veterinary hospitals since 1994. She has been employed with Eagle Animal Clinic since its opening in February of 2000 and has been EAC’s Hospital Manager since 2005. Becky’s daily work partner is Izzy, her very loud snoring Shih-Tzu/Pug mix.

Becky grew up on a family dairy farm outside of Weiser, Idaho; and has always had a passion and love for animals of all sizes. She currently resides outside of New Plymouth with her husband, Larry, and four children, Clara, Grace, David, and Fernando. They live on a few acres where they have room for their menagerie of pets that includes five dogs (Izzy, Morty, Auggie, Squishy, and Denny), six cats (Coconut, Raspberry, John, I-ley, Fat Cat and Tater), ten chickens, and too many goats to count (Boer and Fainting Goats).

When not working Becky spends time sewing recycled denim quilts, decorating cakes, and raising her goats (during the months of January and February, you can usually find bottle baby goats in her office at the hospital). She also enjoys fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, spending time at her family’s cabin, riding ATVs, and supporting her kids in 4-H and FFA.
