Janine grew up on a small farm in Homedale. After graduating from college, she worked for and retired from the Postal Service. She has lived in Eagle for 13 years on a 10-acre farm and raises organic beef cows. Her immediate family consists of four horses, two mules, two dogs, a bunch of cats, ducks, geese and more chickens than she can count. She is currently taking Vet Tech classes through Penn Foster, a distance-learning college. She did an internship at Eagle Animal Clinic, and has been employed at the clinic since September 2011.

Janine is a member of the Squaw Butte Back Country Horsemen of Idaho. In her spare time, she rides horses, packs mules into the back country and helps maintain trails in Idaho’s back country.
